Dear Convention Delegates,
Only 16 DAYS until our RPV State Convention on May 17th & 18th! We’ve received the names of 13,416 delegates so far, with only a handful of local units outstanding. Our final numbers should be locked in by Monday, as the deadline to send in delegate lists is this Friday, May 3rd.
Convention Logistics
Have you checked out our Convention Information for Delegates page on our Convention website, www.RPVConvention.com? It has useful information regarding parking, directions, frequently asked questions and scheduling. In addition, the City of Richmond Convention & Visitors Bureau put together this great website for Convention attendees with dining options and coupons as well as other fun activities in the area if you are making a weekend out of your trip down to Richmond! Click here to visit the site now.
Downtown Hotels are Almost Full, But There Are Still Places to Stay!
There are a number of hotels within a short drive of the Coliseum that at last check had some rooms available. Click here for a list of hotels in Short Pump, just a short drive down Interstate 64 from Downtown. Or click this link for hotels near Ashland, just a few miles up Interstate 95. If you’re coming to Richmond from the south, click this link for a list of hotels near Chester, a short drive on I-95 to the Coliseum.

We have been sending out delegate packets by email with information on the Convention schedule, hotels, parking and more, so if you haven’t downloaded your packet yet, click here or visit www.RPV.org/delegatepacket now for important information!

This is an important election year for the state of Virginia and our Nation. We sincerely hope that you can help our committee ensure the future prosperity of our country.
The Prince William County Republican Headquarters is open for business!
Dear Republican Friends,
We have had a number of volunteers who have made a real difference in the Headquarters (AKA “The Hut”) on the Parkway. We are operational now from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Monday through Friday and 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday. Come on by and see us.
The Ladies of the Barbara Bush Republican Women’s Club have taken over Tuesdays. It’s great to have their enthusiasm and energy in the headquarters. Thanks for stepping up to the plate “Bushies.”
We need your help and your enthusiasm in the Headquarters as well. There are phone calls to be made and we have walk books for those who would prefer to walk a neighborhood.
I don’t have to tell this audience how important this election is. We can’t make up time lost now in September or October.
Sincerely Yours,
Bill Card
Chairman
